Taking inspiration from minimalist electronica, ambient, dark techno atmospheres and no wave, Hannah Holland has created a fitting score to underlay the horror, anxiety and tender emotion of Channel 4’s extraordinary new drama Adult Material. Underscoring an unsettling and moving atmosphere, Holland’s original score is expertly intertwined with a stellar soundtrack.

Starring Hayley Squires and Rupert Everett, Adult Material delves into the porn industry from the perspective of Jolene Dollar who juggles her on-set persona with motherhood and home life.

This is Holland’s second foray into soundtrack composing having worked on ‘Electrician’ directed by Steve Conway. Winner of best music top indie film Award Tokyo and included in official selection New York cinematography Best Original Score.

Hannah Holland is a mainstay of London’s LBGTQ+ club scene and has DJ’d as far afield as Berghain and Carry Nation NYC. She’s remixed Goldfrapp, Metronomy, The Knife and PlanningtoRock. Holland is the founder of the imprint Batty Bass and has also released tracks on Classic and Crosstown Rebels.
